USA Fitness Corps, NY Road Runners Event March 23 to Expand Vets’ Networks
March 4th, 2011The USA Fitness Corps is now working with the New York Road Runners to give Veterans expanded opportunities to fulfill their commitment to service while improving the health and fitness of America’s young people. The USAFC and the Road Runners (NYRRC) have scheduled a special information session for Veterans on March 23, 2011, that should expand the Vets professional networks while they learn of the great ongoing programs under the Road Runners banner.

“The USA Fitness Corps is continuing to seek private and public funding to sustain and grow the important initiatives and relationships we have established on behalf of kids in underserved communities and our terrific returning Vets,” USAFC Executive Director David Haney said. “We wanted to move forward with our commitment to returning Vets in helping them find career and volunteer opportunities.
